Wizz Air Baggage Regulations 2024

Wizz Air Baggage Regulations 2024

According to Wizz Air baggage policy, every passenger can bring one carry-on bag for free on every flight. One can also bring a bigger carry-on bag which is referred to ‘Trolley Bag’, it can be with or without wheels. You can get this if you add WIZZ Priority to your booking. In addition, passengers can bring up to six pieces of checked baggage which can weigh from 20kg to 32kg based on purchased fare. Passengers have to purchase checked baggage via digital channels or offline methods. Purchased duty-free items are also allowed inside the flight cabin. Every bag should be according to Wizz air baggage allowance dimensions.

WIZZ Priority Baggage Benefits

Passengers can take two bags onboard if they add WIZZ Priority to their booking. One is stored underneath the front seat and the other is stowed in the overhead compartment. However, the size of the bags must remain according to the Wizz Air Baggage Allowance. The carry-on must be under 40 x 30 x 20 cm and an extra trolley bag must be under 55 x 40 x 23 cm. With this, you can bring two bags into the cabin up until you follow the regulations.

Baggage Regulation for Passengers without WIZZ Priority

If you do not add WIZZ Priority, you are entitled to bring only Wizz Air cabin baggage. This will still be free of charge. You may also bring some personal items onboard. However, we recommend connecting with the airline for information related to Wizz Air personal item size. If the carry-on baggage exceeds the size restriction, an oversized fee is charged to the bag.

The carry-on can be a small backpack, hand purse, or laptop bag. Remember, the size allowance does not apply to bag handles and wheels.
