  • Ensure items must not exceed a maximum volume of 100 ml for each container.
  • Pack all the containers inside a re-sealable plastic bag with a total capacity of less than 1 L.

Alcoholic Beverages: Passengers are allowed to carry beverages that contain alcohol up to a maximum of 70% by volume. Additionally, the liquid must not exceed 5 L, including checked and cabin luggage. 

Insulated Packaging containing Refrigerated Liquid Nitrogen: These items are prohibited to carry as cabin and checked luggage.

Non-radioactive medicinal or Toiletry Articles: These include Hair sprays, perfumes, cleaning products, medicine-containing alcohol, non-flammable, non-toxic aerosols with no subsidiary hazard for sporting or home use, alcohol-based disinfectant and sanitizer products. The airline allows up to a maximum of 2 kg or 2 L for each passenger. Also, any single item must be under 0.5 kg or 0.5 L.

Weapons and Ammunitions: Firearms and Ammunitions are considered as dangerous items, and various restrictions are applied by the airline to carry these items. However, passengers can carry them by following the restrictions: 

  • Blunt Instruments: Allowed as Checked Luggage only.
  • Explosives and Incendiary Substances and Devices: Strictly banned and not allowed as checked and cabin luggage.
  • Guns, Firearms, and Other Devices Discharge Projectile: This is prohibited in cabins and checked luggage.
  • Objects with Sharp Points or Sharp Edges: Only allowed inside the checked luggage and banned inside the cabin baggage.
  • Stunning Devices: These devices are not allowed as checked or cabin luggage.
  • Worker’s Tools: These can only be carried as checked luggage and are banned as cabin items.

Batteries: There are certain restrictions on carrying batteries as well. The batteries are hazardous items if carried in a larger amount than recommended. Check the following:

  1. Spare or Loose Batteries: It include lithium batteries, non-spillable batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, and dry batteries for portable electronic devices; spare batteries such as power banks are not allowed inside the checked luggage. 
  • You can carry up to 20 spare batteries inside the carry-on luggage; it must not be connected. 
  • Also, it must be placed inside a separate plastic bag to avoid any short circuit or damage. 
  • Lithium batteries must not exceed 2g of lithium content and must be under 100 Wh. 
  • Only 2 non-spillable batteries are allowed for each passenger with a maximum voltage of 12V and 100 Wh.
  1. Fuel Cell and Fuel cell cartridges (Spare): These are completely banned as checked and cabin luggage.
  1. Large Lithium Batteries Exceeding 160Wh (except Mobility Aids): These are completely banned for both types of luggage.

E-Cigarettes: E-cigarettes are banned inside the checked luggage. Maximum 1 unit per passenger is allowed inside the cabin.

Flammable and Explosive Substances: These items, such as Camping stoves and fuel containers with or without fuel, Internal combustion or fuel cell engines, blue flame lighters, cigar lighters, etc, are completely banned as checked and carry-on luggage, except safety lighters, which are allowed up to 1 piece per passenger.
