Flybe Carry On Luggage Allowance

With Flybe baggage allowance, passengers can carry one cabin bag plus personal items without paying any fee. Passengers only have to make sure that their bags align with the airline’s size and weight limits. According to the restrictions, Flybe cabin bag size should be within 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm or 44 linear inches in total (22” x 14” x 8”). Do remember to include the wheel and handles of the bag while measuring the size. Additionally, it should not be heavier than 10kg or 22 lbs. You can place your baggage in the overhead locker or under the front seat. While stowing the bag in the locker, ensure that you are able to close the door without too much force. Otherwise, place it under the seat in front of you.

Passengers are allowed to bring one additional item, like a laptop bag, purse, tablet, etc.,  as a personal item. Its size should be within 43 cm x 25 cm x 22 cm or 36 linear inches (17 x 10 x 9 in). However, it should weigh such that the combined weight of the carry-on and personal item does not exceed 10kg. Any bag not in compliance with the Flybe hand luggage size may incur additional charges, or the staff will check it in at the gate. This means that if the bag exceeds the standard baggage size and weight limit, an oversized or overweight bag fee is charged. The airline will hand over your cabin baggage to the hold storage and charge around 35 EUR.

Flying with Pet On Board The Flybe Flights

As per the Flybe baggage policy, passengers are allowed to travel with their pets. This is limited to only domesticated cats and dogs. Pets can travel on board only when they are in a container and should stay there for the complete duration of the flight. The size of the container should be under 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm, and the combined weight should be under 8kg. If it does not, the airline will decide to transport your pet via the aircraft hold.

Moreover, if your booking includes a connecting flight of more than 3 three hours, the airline may not allow pet travel. Lastly, you may have to pay additional charges of up to 30 EUR to 120 EUR on the cabin and 90 EUR to 190 EUR on the hold. These charges are subject to change depending on the selected route and the weight of your pet.
