Parents or guardians can carry one foldable stroller for infants as per Air Malta baggage allowance. However, the airline does not offer any luggage allowance to infants and children. Accompanying passengers may take the stroller up until you start to embark on the plane. From there, the airline will stow it in the hold and return it back to you once you arrive at the final destination.

In case you plan to travel with an infant under two years of age, ensure that you bring your own car seat or another child safety seat. Also, remember to inform the airline at least 24 hours in advance. The concerned staff will inform you whether the seat you are bringing is allowed or not.

Air Malta Baggage Allowance By Piece

The airline counts a passenger’s checked bags by piece instead of weight alone. This implies an individual can bring a permitted number of bags up to the maximum weight limit. The limit is clearly stated on your purchased ticket. You can check it on the confirmation email. Please note that pooling of baggage between passengers is not an allowance even if they booked the same route.

Passengers may purchase additional pieces of bags in case their long vacation calls for more baggage. Bringing oversized or excess baggage and purchasing them at the airport will cost you more. If this limit is crossed, the airline will either ask you to repack the bags or reject them straight away.
