Passengers traveling to all the destinations, excluding Los Angeles and Canada, can carry luggage with a maximum dimension of 158 cm (62 in). The airline allows a maximum weight of 66 lbs (30 kg) for Business class and 50 lbs (23 kg) for Economy class passengers. 

Passengers Traveling To/From Los Angeles and Canada

Passengers traveling to/from Los Angeles and Canada in Economy Class can carry one bag with a maximum dimension of 150 cm (62 in) and an overall maximum weight of 50 lbs (23 kg). Business Class passengers can carry two pieces of bags with a maximum dimension of 150 cm (62 in) per piece, and a maximum weight must not exceed 66 lbs (30 kg) each.

Note: Passengers traveling to/from Honolulu must know that the weight limit applies to 1 piece.

Fiji Airways Excess Baggage Allowance and Fees

Passengers carrying excess baggage must pay additional charges to keep it with them. Economy class passengers will have to pay the extra luggage fees if the bag size exceeds 50 lbs (23 kg) and a maximum dimension of 158 cm (62 in). Fiji Oversized Baggage Fees

Travelers carrying oversized baggage can bring bulky baggage more than the allowed limit by paying additional charges. These charges depend on the flights departing and arriving at a specific destination. For domestic flights, passengers must pay for bulky items weighing more than 33 lbs (15 kg). Key Points for International Flights: If the item exceeds 158 cm (62 in) but under 277 cm (109 in) with a maximum weight of 30 kg such as surfboards, golf bags, etc. will have to pay the oversized charges along with the excess weight. Key Points for Domestic Flight: Fiji charges FJD 100 per item for oversized luggage. If one item exceeds 115 cm (45 in) but under 277 cm (109 in) with a maximum weight of 33 lbs (15 kg), the airline will charge oversized item charges.

Fiji Airways Special Baggage Allowance

If passengers carry cabin baggage, cargo, checked-in, or any small bag, they will be subject to compulsory screening. The airline will do it through an X-ray machine, physical and manual search, or handheld detectors.
