Aeroflot Baggage Allowance for Infants

If any children is traveling with you under the age of 2 to 12 years, the same free adult Aeroflot check in baggage allowance will apply. Passengers traveling with infants on their lap without a separate seat on a Lite fare family don’t get any free checked baggage allowance.

Infants under two years old without a separate seat on any fare family other than Lite Fare are eligible for free checked luggage allowance. The airline provides an allowance of 1 bag with a maximum baggage weight of not more than 10 kg and an overall linear size dimensions of 115 cm.

Notes: 

• A passenger can only carry up to 100 ml of liquid in a 100 ml container that too must be packed inside a transparent plastic bag of 1 liter or less in volume (one bag per passenger)
• Also, the airline may deny the containers larger than 100 ml even if they are partially filled. 
• Only medicines, special dietary items, and baby food are allowed in, except for transportation.

Liquid Purchased At The Airport: Almost every item purchased from a duty-free store is allowed to an extent. The items must be inside a sealed plastic bag, and proof must be available showing the item was purchased at the airport. 

Small Personal Mobility Aids: Passengers traveling with Aeroflot having items that are powered by lithium batteries, including monowheels, segways, hoverboards, gyroscooters, and electric scooters, are not allowed as luggage if lithium batteries are not removed.

Additionally, the passengers can only carry the items as carry-on luggage if the battery power must not exceed 160 Watt-hour (Wh). 

Weapons and Ammunitions:  Passengers can carry firearms and ammunitions as checked luggage under some restrictions. Passengers must inform the airline at least 36 hours before the scheduled flight departure. Additionally, self-check-in is prohibited at the airport, and passengers must have to register at the check-in points at the airport terminal. 

All the weapons a passenger carries must be handed over to the crew so they can store them temporarily during the flight. Weapons will be delivered to their respective owner at the destination airport after the arrival. Passengers cannot carry replicas of pistols, revolvers, rifles, etc., in the aircraft cabin and must be carried inside the checked luggage. Lithium Batteries Inside The Luggage

The airline only allows passengers to carry Lithium batteries depending on its capacity and configurations. In addition, the airline requests the passenger to turn off the electronic devices powered by lithium batteries. Passengers must carry the devices in a protective case to avoid any damage. Lithium Ion Batteries with Up To 100 Wh: Passengers carrying lithium metal batteries that contain up to 2 G (LC) of lithium, such as cell phones, video cameras, watches, portable music players, laptops, etc., are allowed as carry-on luggage. Also, spare batteries must be carried separately to avoid any short circuit. These batteries can also be carried as checked luggage. However, spare accumulator batteries are completely prohibited. 

Lithium Batteries with Specific Power Between 100 and 160 Wh: Lithium-metal batteries that contain 2-8 G (LC) of lithium, such as extended-life laptops, professional audio and video equipment, and portable medical devices, are allowed inside the cabin. However, the airline’s permission is mandatory. Passengers can carry it inside the equipment, but the device must be turned off. Additionally, if there are any spare batteries available, they must be kept separately. One passenger can only carry up to two lithium-metal batteries. 

Passengers must require the airline’s permission to carry these as checked luggage. The batteries must be stored inside the equipment. Spare batteries are completely prohibited.

Lithium Ion Batteries with Specific Power Over 160 Wh: Batteries with a power of more than 160 Wh, such as industrial equipment, electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, mobility aids, and mopeds, are not allowed in checked or carry-on baggage as well. If any passenger carries the equipment, the airline will consider it dangerous. However, the airline also offers some exceptions to the passengers for these dangerous goods. The airline allows passengers to carry wheelchairs, etc., power more than 160 Wh after providing all the necessary documents and complete manufacturer information, such as weight, size, capacity, etc., when making the reservation.

Additionally, a passenger can carry a spare battery with a maximum capacity of up to 300 Wh or even two batteries with a maximum capacity of not more than 160 Wh each.

Small Personal Mobility Aids: Devices powered by Lithium-ion batteries or cells such as monowheels, segways, hoverboards, gyroscooters, and electric scooters are allowed under the restrictions that all these items will be transported by Aeroflot PJSC flights as checked luggage.

Electronic Smoking Devices

Passengers traveling with Aeroflot can carry E-Cigarettes, E-cigarillos, E-Cigars, Electronic Pipes, Personal Steam Generators, Electronic Nicotine Supply Systems, etc. However, these devices are not allowed for every type of luggage. The airline mentioned that passengers cannot carry electronic smoking devices as checked luggage and can only be carried inside the cabin under their carry-on luggage.
