Overweight Baggage Fee

If your luggage is over 158 cm but lies under 300 cm, the airline will accept the bag in exchange for an extra charge. Bags are accepted for transportation in the hold as long as they are within 300 cm. Air Mauritius charges EUR 325 for oversized bags.

1. Pack it in plastic and keep it inside an airtight cooler box.
2. Use a polystyrene box and pack the item inside a sealed plastic bag.
3. Wrap the food in paper to control the moisture, then keep it in a sealed plastic bag and store it in a carton box.

e) Urns for Human Remains

Air Mauritius has special offers for passengers traveling with surfboards, scuba equipment, hunting trophies, and golf equipment. The weight should be up to 32kg and 23kg for Business and Economy classes respectively. Ensure your equipment measures up to 200 cm if traveling to/from South Africa and 300 cm for ATR flights.
