Envoy Air baggage allowance is designed for your cabin bags, personal items, and checked bags. Passengers are offered free baggage included in their tickets. However, if the limit is exceeded, the airline may charge an additional baggage fee as per the policies. Passengers can carry one personal item and a cabin bag on board as per the Envoy Air carry on baggage allowance. This comes included on your tickets. In addition, the airlines have now started providing one free carry-on in Basic Economy. You have to make sure that Envoy Air carry on size should not exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches or 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm. Do include wheels and handles while measuring the size of the bag. At the same time, the dimensions of a personal item should be 18 x 14 x 8 inches or 45 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm

Passengers can keep their cabin bags in the overhead compartment and personal items under the front seat. If the items cannot fit the provided space, they may have to be checked in. It is also possible that you may have to pay a fee if the overall allowance is exceeded. If you are bringing garment bags with soft sides, they should be up to 51 inches or 130 cm when height, width, and length are combined. You can also carry it in place of a cabin bag. 

Items Allowed As Personal Items

These items are usually smaller in size and must fit the space under the front seat or in the overhead compartment if the space is available. It can be a magazine, book, jacket, overcoat, laptop, or anything that fits the permitted size as long as it is nothing dangerous. Additionally, passengers can also carry travel necessities items for their children. The airline will count them as neither personal items nor carry-on.  These items are diaper bags, breast pumps, breast milk coolers (small and soft-sides), safety seats, strollers, and other medical devices. 

Carry Musical Instruments On Envoy Flights

As per the Enviy Air baggage allowance, passengers can carry small musical instruments on board the flight as carry-on items. They can use an overhead compartment to keep their favorite instruments. Depending on the size, you may keep the equipment under the front seat as well. If it does not fit the provided space, you may purchase an additional seat in the same cabin. The seat will cost the same as the adult fare plus taxes and imposed fees. For this purpose, you get to select a seat right next to you. Also, ensure that Envoy Air baggage weight limit is under 165 lbs or 75kg.

According to Envoy Air baggage policy, there are certain restrictions applied to items that are liquid, aerosol, and gel-based. It should be packed in containers equal to or less than 3.4 ounces of 100 militiers. Passengers can pack these containers in a quart-sized resealable bags in their cabin bags.For containers that are larger than one liter, they must be packed in checked bags. However, there are some exemptions as well. This policy is not applied to medications and items that come under infant and child nourishment.

Envoy Air Baggage Allowance lets passengers check in up to 10 bags at the counter for domestic, transatlantic, and transpacific flights. Five checked bags are allowed on flights to and from Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Brazil. The size is calculated by adding the outer dimensions (length + width + height). It should be under 62 inches or 158 cm

Envoy Air baggage weight limit for checked bags is 50 lbs or 23kg for each bag. For passengers flying in First and Business class, the weight limit is up to 70 lbs or 32kg for complimentary bags. However, the standard bag limit is considered for excess bags. Additionally, checked bags can weigh up to 32kg for flights to or from Australia and New Zealand. 

Envoy Air Baggage Fees 

Envoy Air baggage allowance does not permit bags that are over the standard weight and size limits. Such bags are considered oversized and overweight, which levy excess fees as well. As per the policy, no passengers can check in bags over 126 inches/ 320 cm and 32kg. The airline will levy a fee for every excess bag according to the selected route.

The airline does not accept bags weighing more than 100 lbs or 45 kg. Passengers flying in premium cabins are allowed to check in two bags up to 32kg each free of charge. Other passengers are not allowed to exceed this limit. Also, note that passengers may not be allowed to pack complimentary bags on codeshare flights with partnered airlines.

Envoy Air Baggage Policy For Special Items

The airline follows specific Envoy Air Baggage Policy for items that do not align with standard regulations. These items can be odd-shaped or large in size. It can be a musical instrument,  Audio or visual equipment, Human remains, Infant seats or child restraint devices, Firearms, and ammunition, Military bags, Mobility devices, Speakers, etc.  Rules, exceptions, and instructions for packing also apply to special items as per the Envoy Air baggage allowance. The maximum weight can be up to 100 lbs or 45kg, and the size can be up to 126 inches or 320 cm when three sides are added together. There are exceptions as well.  In case you are traveling from Madrid, Spain (MAD), the maximum length of the bag should not be more than 43 inches or 110 cm. The sum of the three sides should be equal to as stated above.

Passengers can carry their musical instruments on board and as checked items. As mentioned previously, you can take small instruments like guitar, ukulele, and violin inside the flight cabin. You may also purchase an additional seat for bigger instruments like cello. When you carry it on board, you are responsible for stowing it in the overhead storage or placing it under the front seat.  If you decide to check it in, the airline will accept it only if it’s under 150 inches or 381 cm. The weight can be up to 165 lbs or 75 kg. If your equipment is heavier or larger, kindly contact the cargo department. The airline will apply a standard baggage fee for bags under the permitted size and weight limit limit. Also, note that the airline will not be responsible for damage to checked fragile items, which are as follows:

When you are flying with sports equipment, its linear size should be 126 inches or 320 cm. The Envoy Air baggage weight limit should be 70 lbs or 32 kg. However, this is subject to change depending on the aircraft’s size and storage capabilities. The equipment should be packed in a travel-friendly case. Pack items that are related to sports. You will have to open the bag at the security screening. If other items are packed inside the case, they will not be accepted.
